Trying another Twitter Plugin

Ok, so I could not get Twitter Tools to work on my WordPress website. Not sure why as I am using the most up to date version of both WP and the plugin, but I got errors and could not even verify my account settings with Twitter. So I am trying something new… WP Twit Box. It seems to have less options, but for my use I am just seeking something that will auto post my posts here to my Twitter account. We will see what happens and go from there! Wish me...

Cross Browser Testing Made Easier

When designing and developing a website, one of the more important issues is getting it right in as many browsers as possible. Yes, I know its 2010, but even today we still don’t have a real set standard that all browsers use for rendering a website. Browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox have multiple builds, and each one displays a website slightly different. For a designer / developer this is a very frustrating thing! So once you get your design complete, then you must begin checking all the different browsers to see which ones you need to fix your design in. Most notorious is Internet...

Trying Twitter Tools

I am looking for the right WordPress plugin that will automatically submit my posts here on Twitter for me. My hope is to have really one key place to post information and to have that update any and all profiles I may have. Sr. Web Developer

I have recently accepted a position with Hats Off Creative as their Sr. Web Developer. As such, my job is to work with the design team in the development and deployment of websites for our clients. Websites will range from small 4 and 5 page websites to more complex CMS driven websites. My experience working with HTML, PHP, CSS and CMS programs such as WordPress and Drupal will come in handy for sure. Looks like 2010 is going to be a great year! I am looking forward to this very interesting and exciting opportunity and expect that I will both learn and contribute much in this...

Powered By WordPress

This may not be that big a secret, but EdNailor.com is proudly powered by WordPress. I could have taken a number of approaches to building this website. I could have certainly used straight HTML code and created each page “by hand”, but knowing that I planned to add a lot of content over time, that would become tedious. HTML only websites are great for simple 5 page websites, but if your website is going to handle a number of pages and a lot of content, you need a good content management system to power it all. So why WordPress? Simply put, it is among the best in CMS programs. I have...
